<p><a href="http://online.wsj.com/article/SB125506948310075477.html">The Asian Wall Street Journal reports that more than 160 people are feared dead in massive landslides in the mountains of the northern Philippines after days of torrential rain saturated hillside soil, sending it tumbling down onto villages and towns below.</a> Thousands of other people were left marooned by worsening floods triggered by Tropical Depression Parma, which was downgraded from a typhoon and has been hovering over the northern Philippines for the past week.</p>
